Electrolux EL8811A Precision Review – Your Home Cleaner

If you are a dog-person who just can’t get enough of his furry friend and the play-time leaves too much of a mess behind, the guys over at Electrolux have the perfect solution for you – the EL9911A Precision. It is an upright bagless vacuum cleaner with tons of features and tricks up its sleeve. It is perfect in almost any aspect and we found it to be incredibly easy to maintain. It comes with a relatively cheap price tag and does all the things the more expensive vacuum cleaners do. In its class, it has very little competition, in our opinion. The only competitor worth mentioning is the Kenmore Elite 31150, although the Kenmore model is a bit cheaper, which gives it a slight edge, even though it is a bagged model.

If you want to find out more about the differences between bagged and bagless vacuum cleaners on our Buyer’s Guide page. Now let’s check some of the main features of the EL8811A.

Features That Make It Stand Out

The first thing we want to mention is the multi-cyclonic system that this vacuum cleaner uses. It is a modern system integrated into the more expensive bagless models. What it does is reduce the chances of your machine to clog up by ejecting debris directly into the dust cup, instead of them going along with the main air stream.

The “Precision” has a self-cleaning brush roll system at the bottom of the head which basically sucks the debris which is stuck in your brush right into the bin with a single push of a button. This particular model comes with a multi-tool (or as they call it “versatool”) which can double as a crevice tool and maybe even a stair cleaner.

Just like other expensive bagged vacuum cleaners this one has a HEPA filtration system. This is actually rare for a bagless model, but yet Electrolux found a way to do it, which brings them levels above the typical bagless models. This is a great addition for anyone suffering from allergies.

Another amazing thing about its filters is that apart from absorbing allergens and dust, they are also odor-absorbent. This means that your whole apartment won’t smell like your dog when you turn the vacuum cleaner on, like it happens with most cheaper models. These filters are washable, but we suggest replacing them from time to time.

Speaking of pets, you might wanna get the “Power Paw” tool Electrolux is offering. It does wonders with all sorts of fur.

As with the SEBO 9559AM, there is a 5 years warranty period here, which is more than great, but in our experience this model is extremely sturdy and reliable. Maintenance is a breeze too, as it is with all other bagless models.

Electrolux EL8811A Precision Conclusion and Rating

Home Improvement Monkey.com Product Rating: [star rating=”5″ numeric=”yes”]

This model is great for people who live in slightly bigger apartments or houses as it can cover large surface areas relatively quick and the dust container is super easy to discharge. Extra bonus points for having a HEPA filtration, and packing a few accessories with it. We think that the downsides are too few and are easily overlooked, therefore a score of five out of five stars is perfectly adequate.
